Day two of PTO. I was looking forward to it — and I’m happy to say I’m enjoying it so far
Leading up to this week was… a lot. An ultramarathon of speed runs. I always seem to end up in these wild work adventures. Through metaphorical mountains and wind… we got it done. We delivered for Conf day.

Sidenote: Not complaining by the way. Like with actual marathon-like things. It’s something I knew was coming. Something I signed up for. Back to the post!

This year’s Webflow Conf was in New York City. A teammate flew out to help support the project. While there, they visited the Banksy museum — and sent me a quote right when I needed it:
“If you get tired, learn to rest, not to quit.”

That’s it. That’s what I’m doing now.
Exhausted, but energized.
I think my mind and body already knew. It was telling in increasingly less subtle ways. I had metaphorically “gone fishin’”. My mornings have been distracted, fighting myself to write and publish.
So this week, vacation starts with… getting ready to vacation. A break before the break. (It always happens that way.)
Learning to rest — so I can be ready again.
